The PENN District Experience Center is a highly curated and inviting space on the 7th floor of the newly revitalized PENN 1, designed by A+I to showcase Vornado’s portfolio throughout Manhattan and in the PENN District to prospective customers.
With 8,855 Sq/Ft of interior space, and an 18,580 Sq/Ft exterior terrace overlooking the heart of the city, the Experience Center serves as both the visceral manifestation of Vornado’s vision for the future of the work, and as a showroom for The PENN District itself.
A welcoming moment with a residential feel, envisioned to reflect the client’s brand and identity, so that a visitor would feel like they were being welcomed into Vornado’s home.
A sunken digital exhibition experience envisioned as a black box adjacent to light filled gallery spaces, with a wraparound terrace as a lush backdrop, and connected to a variety of technology forward indoor meeting areas.
An indoor-outdoor gathering space with a sculptural pavilion, shaded meeting areas, conversation nooks and an elevated overlook that provides a panoramic view of The PENN District.
