For Tumblr, we designed a four-floor gut renovation that includes offices, roof access, breakout spaces, and event areas that reflect their digital platform and the eclectic, fun identity the company has built for itself. A ground-floor event space and lobby, once home to an area night club, gives Tumblr a street presence and connects employees to the surrounding neighborhood.

Commonly used as a lunch room or larger meeting space, the lobby area also hosts guest speakers and other large format events. Amenities included on the ground floor include a full-sized bar, movie screen with theater seating, ping pong and foosball tables, and the crucial photo booth for capturing the magic at events.
