A+I Promotes Three Emerging Leaders Within Its NYC Practice

Strategy-led architecture and experience design agency Architecture + Information (A+I) today announced the promotion of three individuals within its growing New York City-based practice.

Naveem Ahbab, AIA, has been elevated to Senior Associate at the firm. In her new role, she expands their responsibilities to oversee the design and execution of multiple projects within her respective design studio led by Associate Principal Neil Bartley

“Naveem has shown an unparalleled ability to manage teams while going above and beyond client expectations as projects are designed and built,” Principal Sommer Schauer commented. “Alongside our growing group of senior associates at A+I, the firm is in a great position to execute a growing number of design opportunities during this unprecedented time.”

In addition to the Ahbab, Courtney Benzon, AIA, and Robert Dimock, AIA, have been promoted to Associate. Within this capacity, they will join a cohort of project managers and project architects who drive the day-to-day execution of project work and spearhead firmwide initiatives. They are presently teamed up as project leaders on The Gardens at 780, a full-scale building repositioning in Midtown East owned by Nuveen. Benzon serves a project manager with Dimock as the project architect.

Amid the uncertainty of Covid-19 and its implications for the future of workplace, the promotions attest to A+I’s belief that the firm’s strategy-led approach to space and experience will be more important than ever for companies looking to adapt with the times.

“Beyond the short-term challenges Covid-19 introduces around distancing, mask-wearing, and all the other practices we’ve come to know over the last six months, we’re really focused on helping our clients think of the longer term implications of how space is used,” A+I co-founder Brad Zizmor shared. “These promotions reflect our confidence that now more than ever, the companies who hire us to lead them through a transition as profound as this do so because we attract the best talent, and we think that merits recognition.”
