Goldman Gallery
New York, NY
1,000 Sq/Ft
Prolific real estate developer Tony Goldman is well-known for his role helping transform former industrial areas like New York’s Soho and Miami’s Wynwood into arts destinations. His passion for art is a hallmark of all his projects. Located within one of his flagship Soho buildings, Goldman Gallery was conceived of as a brick and mortar art gallery to showcase street art from around the world. As designers, A+I treated the gallery space as an extension of the street itself, using a similar pallet of red brick, concrete, steel, and open structure to create an appropriate backdrop for the art on display. At the back of the space we created a small artist-in-residency room hidden behind a mirrored door.
